Captcha Pricing & Payments

Captcha rates go as follows:

Payments for the actual service with De-Captcher.com (more coming soon we hope!) must be paid to De-Captcher.com, as detailed below. Donations to our forum will get you a lower cost per CAPTCHA, but you must still pay the solvers for the solving...they are a separate company entirely from NeatPortal.

Setting up a De-captcher account

Go to http://www.de-captcher.com and click Register in the top right. Fill out the account name, email, and password you want. Solve the captcha (ironic, huh?) and click Register.

After registering and logging in, click Balance at the top of the page. You can view your current balance and load funds into your account here. To load initial funds, click one of the orange links with the amount you want. De-captcher.com requires a minimum of $10 per payment.

Now go back to the Home link at the top of the page, and note down your Port information. You do not need to worry about the API servers, the bot does that part for you. You may like to remember this location to check the de-captcher.com server load for the future.

Now you can close the de-captcher.com page.

Setting up your Forum Profile

Go to the NeatPortal forum at http://forum.neatportal.com and click User Control Panel -> Profile. In here you will need to fill out your De-captcher.com username, password, and port. Do not save or exit here yet.

Now go to your bot and click on the Global Settings Button -> About tab. Copy the 40-character user hash it displays there and paste it into your profile as Bot hash 1. Repeat this for each bot you run as bot hash 2, bot hash 3, etc. If you have more than 26 bots, you will find that you've reached the limit for this forum account profile. Don't panic! You can make a 2nd forum account (or 3rd, 4th, etc.) and use the same De-captcher.com information to add your 27th+ bots. Click Submit at the bottom of the forum profile.

Setting up the Bot

Once you click Submit at the bottom of the forum profile, your Forum Secret Key (commonly referred to as 'ssk') will be automatically filled out. Copy this SSK to your bot in Global Settings -> Forum tab.

You're done with the forum now and can close the page or stick around to read some posts :)

In the Forum tab, check the box to "Enable CAPTCHA solving". If you wish for all to be auto-solved without giving you a chance to manually do them, fill out "0" for the Auto-Solve delay. If you wish to solve them yourself and save a little money when you're around, input a number other than 0. This number will be how many seconds the CAPTCHA is displayed in the bot for you to solve it. If you fail to solve it within that many seconds, it will auto-solve instead.

The bot has a npc farming throttle to help alleviate some of the frequency in CAPTCHAs. This is set up in the same place on the Forum tab in Global Settings. What happens is the bot will farm until it receives a CAPTCHA, then it will continue to farm for <x> minutes afterwards and then pause. It will stay paused for <y> minutes before resuming farming. In the screenshot above, it will farm for 4 minutes after it receives the first CAPTCHA, and then pause for 41 minutes.

Assuming you set everything up correctly on both the Forum profile and the bot's Forum tab, then you should see your De-captcher.com account balance displayed below the farming throttle settings, as shown above. The error messages, if there are any, are usually fairly descriptive, i.e., "Please enter a valid Secret Key" would mean the one you entered is not valid. Double check that you have copy/pasted both the SSK and the Bot's userhash correctly. The SSK should be 32 characters long, while the hash is 40.
