Download the latest copy of the bot at http://forum.neatportal.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5.

If you're a VIP member on the forum you can download the latest beta test version at http://forum.neatportal.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=28.

Make sure you download the Linux Binary version, it will be a zip file for the download.

Find the bot where your browser put it, for example ~/Downloads. Either run the bot from this directory or move it to a more logical place where binaries should live, for example ~/bin.

You will need a program to unzip the archive, and probably already have one installed. After extracting your bot, right-click on it and choose properties. On the Permissions tab, checkmark the option to allow executing this file as a program and close the dialog.

Now run your bot. At the login screen, you will need to enter your Evony username (email address) and password, as well as the server you play on. If you play on a regular server, just type the number, for example "167". If you play on a super server, type it with the ss, for example "ss60".

The Window Title should be a unique name to identify each account you're running. I personally use my lord name.

You can check the Auto Login, Set Goals, and Netbook Mode boxes if you would like to have the bot automatically log in when started, automatically set goals, and condense the graphical display for smaller screensizes, respectively. Auto Login and Set Goals are recommended.

It has been reported that on a fresh installation of Ubuntu 64-bit system that the bot shows up with a blank white screen. The solution for this is: sudo apt-get install ia32-libs

Once logged in, right click anywhere in the bot and click "Settings".

In the window that pops up, slide the bar to the right to increase the storage size allowed by Flash for the bot. If you set this too small, you will have a problem with goals and scripts not saving. Click Close on the popup when you've adjusted it.

In order to view war reports on the bot, you need the warreport.swf. Unfortunately due to limitations in the software we use to create the binary builds, we can't automatically uncompress this file and the images it uses into your bot directory. Please download the zip file here and uncompress it into the director your bot is located.

There is unfortunately no multi-bot launcher or Director style program for linux at this time.
